Our Staff
Morgan Minor, Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Supervisor
Morgan Graduated from Old Dominion University in 2012 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services with a Minor in Psychology and Liberty University in 2018 with a Masters in counseling. Morgan is an approved supervisor for Residents in Counseling.
She has experience working for a local social services agency, community services boards, public schools, therapeutic day schools and an at-risk youth community agency that provides services to youth and their families in the community.
Morgan has been providing outpatient therapy since November 2019 to children, adults and couples throughout the state of Virginia.
Morgan’s passion is supporting at-risk youth and educating clients/families about how trauma impacts the family system. Her first-hand experience focuses on how multi-generational and systemic issues continue to plague our community and break down the family system. Morgan believes people have the power to change if given the right guidance, support and resources. She is excited to support Seasons Counseling’s vision and provide the needed services to our community.
In her downtime she enjoys watching football, hiking, spending time with family and exploring with her dog. She enjoys movies, local farmer’s markets and trying new foods. Morgan is an avid reader as well as documentary enthusiast. Travelling is essential and exploring new places and cultures is great self-care.
Lila Heymann, Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Supervisor
Lila is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years in practice. She is an approved supervisor in Social Work. She received her undergraduate degree from Goucher College and Masters in Social Work from NYU. Having worked with adults, families, and groups in multiple settings, Lila is an experienced therapist with a multidisciplinary approach.
Lila believes therapy helps clients learn distress tolerance techniques and stress management skills. To Lila, therapy is a space to strategize ways to feel better, how to be more present, and become able to better handle life’s challenges. Therapy will utilize a whole self-approach, addressing the needs of the mind, body and spirit. In addition to a client centered, humanistic and trauma focused approach, Lila also integrates mindfulness meditation practice into therapy. Whether clients are dealing with overwhelming relationship issues, cycles of anxiety and depression, major mental illness or trauma related concerns, Lila is equipped to provide professional, sensitive and comprehensive therapeutic support. Lila also works as an Independent Psychiatric Evaluator for the Virginia Supreme court.
When she is not working Lila enjoys world travel, art and spending time with family, friends and her multiple pets.
Sarah Dodd, Supervisee in Social Work (MSW-S)
Sarah is a recent graduate from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Master of Social Work degree. She comes to Seasons Counseling as a former educator. Sarah taught for five years in public education with students spanning from middle schoolers to freshman in college. As an educator, Sarah felt the most rewarding experiences were when she could help students navigate social/emotional obstacles both in and out of the classroom. That curiosity and compassion lead her to the field of social work and counseling.
Rooted in a person-centered attachment theory approach, Sarah strives to create a space where every client feels heard, seen, safe, and supported. She believes that through the therapeutic process you can learn to better understand your experiences in order to increase your window of tolerance and begin the journey of reconnecting with yourself and others. She also believes we each go through seasons where we need additional supports to help us along the way. Sarah remains in awe of the courage and vulnerability it takes to dive into self-exploration and examination through therapy.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys being outside, hiking, journaling, drinking coffee, and reading. She enjoys traveling with her partner to see family and exploring new and unfamiliar places.
Sarah is under the supervision of Lila Heymann, LCSW, while working toward licensure.
Nick La Grua, Resident in Counseling (RIC)
Nick is a Resident in Counseling with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health from Eastern Mennonite University and a background in Theatre from Randolph-Macon College.
He works with his clients on navigating life transitions and pressures, trauma, anxiety, or depression. He is especially passionate about supporting individuals who are exploring their identities, including those in the LGBTQ+ community.
Nick believes the heart of therapy is the relationship between client and counselor. His goal is to create a space that feels safe, warm, and genuine—where clients can be themselves, explore their experiences, and make sense of the things that have shaped them.
Nick is also interested in how the body responds in the moment during therapy, believing that physical reactions can offer valuable insights when words fail to convey meaning. He understands that clients don’t need to have everything figured out to begin therapy. He feels honored to walk alongside each person as they heal, grow, and get curious about what’s next.
Outside of the counseling space, Nick has a wide range of interests, including reading at coffee shops, playing video games, skateboarding, photography, and traveling. He also loves a good TV show or Movie and spending time with family and friends.
Nick is under supervision of Morgan Minor, LPC
Robert Richards, Resident in Counseling (RIC)
Robert is a resident in counseling and a recent graduate of Southern New Hampshire University with a Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree.
Robert has always had an interest in understanding why people think, feel, and behave the way they do, and how such insights can be used to improve individual lives and society at large. This interest is the thread that connects Robert’s work in the fields of anthropology, sustainable food systems, and counseling.
Robert uses multiple therapeutic modalities to help clients discover the role of past experiences in current internal and external challenges, and develop strengths, strategies, and the selfcompassion to better cope with and overcome them.
In his free time, Robert enjoys spending time with family, woodworking, hiking, and gardening.
Robert is under the supervision of Morgan Minor, LPC, while working towards licensure.
Camilla Scriven, Intake Coordinator
Camilla comes to Seasons Counseling with decades of administrative experience in both mental and public health settings. Her goal is to make obtaining mental health services as seamless and as easy as possible; removing barriers to care. She is a transplant to the Culpeper area from the Shenandoah Valley.
When she’s not returning phone calls and emails, she likes to hang out with her family on the couch, acting in community theatre, going to concerts and baking.
